THE BOY NEXT DOOR✓ EPISODE 113✓

We are seated around the fire. It's still fucking cold despite me being wrapped in Kain's jacket and the crackling fire. Kain, who is seated beside me, is wearing a T-shirt and I feel awful that he has to sacrifice his jacket for me. I should never have forgotten to pack mine. Jay walks out of the cabin carrying a few quilts and he tosses one to Kain who catches it swiftly mid air. "I don't want you to die of cold, asshole." Jay laughs while taking a seat beside Cara. Kain just grins gratefully at him and wraps the quilt around himself. They are all drinking again and I make a mental note not to touch any alcohol tonight. I still regret my drunken actions from last night, and it's my fault that Jade isn't talking to Cara anymore. I look around as I take a sip of my fresh mango juice. Jade is leaning on George's shoulder and he has an arm around her. They are engaged in a quiet conversation and my heart flutters when he looks down at her with a grin and kisses her sweetly on the forehead. Zac is laughing at something Gianna says while Ethan is drinking his sorrows away. He drinks too much but he is never too drunk. I guess he is a certified alcoholic. Jay is in a heated argument with Cara and he keeps rolling his eyes. Jay though. "Why are you staring at people?" Kain asks in my ear, startling me. I didn't know he had been watching me doing my little survey. "Nothing." I reply quickly. He suddenly wraps arm around my waist and pulls me close to him before he leans to whisper in my ear. "Your Mom told me if you go home with a scratch, I'll be in serious trouble." "Where did you see her?" "She was stepping out with Daniel when I drove my Mom home. She even invited George and I to her wedding." "Her wedding?" I ask with a creased brow. "Yes. Next weekend." He looks at my face then laughs when he sees the confusion. "Your Mom is getting married and you are not aware?" "They had not chosen a date for the wedding when we left home. Seems like they did it after." He nods. "The wedding will be fun." "You're coming?" I ask in surprise. "I never imagined you to be an events person. You didn't even show up at the engagement party." "I didn't come because I knew my dad would be there. I can't stand him." "You should forgive him Kain." "Crap. He doesn't even want to be forgiven. Plus, I'm not a forgiving person Belle. I have a small circle of people I trust. If they ever break my trust, we are done." Fear creeps down my spine. If he ever finds out about George's secret... "Let's play a game guys." Jay interrupts everyone's moment. Here we go again. "I'm not playing any stupid game." I say quickly. Drinking once was enough. "You won't have to drink puppy face. It gets boring just sitting hear watching you couples getting cozy. I hate being the fifth wheel." "With four others." Zac adds jokingly. "Yes. With four others. Are we playing or not?" Jay asks. "Can't we just play poker or chess?" I ask quickly. I really don't want to play the truth or dare thing again. I'll end up doing a dare I won't be comfortable with or taking a shot of whisky. "Ew. That's boring." Cara says and Jade glares at her. "Keep your opinions to yourself. Traitor." "Easy, babe." George consoles her while leaning to kiss her hair. She rolls her eyes and keep quiet. "I know a simple game we can play. It doesn't involve alcohol so Bella won't have to worry about getting drunk." Gianna offers. "Yeah?" Zac asks with a raised eyebrow. "It's not a game as such; it's more like getting to know each other. It's called the twenty one question game. We all ask a single person questions and they answer truthfully. Once we are done, we move to the next person." "I don't think I will like this game." Ethan says while scrunching his nose. "I don't want to answer questions about myself." "Then go to bed little boy." Kain says and Jay bursts out laughing. "I told you last night and I'm saying it again. I have never heard of anyone called Kain. Your name is Daddy!" Everyone laughs but Gianna hushes them up. "So, do you guys want to try the game or not?" "I guess we can." Jay says. "If we don't like it, we can always switch to something more interesting." "Good. Who is going to start?" Gianna asks again. "You, baby girl. We are starting with you." Jade tells her sweetly. Zac is seated next to Gianna so he is supposed to ask her a question about herself and once she answers, the next person will ask her until the circle is complete. It's kind of a hot seat. I'm kind of scared since they have all been drinking. I don't want anyone asking me weird questions. "I'm ready." Gianna says confidently while sitting back and Zac looks at her thoughtfully, thinking of a question. "What do most people think about you that is absolutely not true?" Zac asks and she blushes. "Remember, no lying." Jay insists. "Well, most people assume that I am a virgin." She says with her eyes on the fire and Kain tenses beside me. I pass Ethan a glance and he is just looking at her, not bothered about the whole thing. "Wait, you are not a virgin? You are only seventeen!" Cara quips with surprise. "Can we go to the next question already?" Kain asks impatiently and they keep quiet. It's Jade's turn to ask Gianna a question now. "What is that one thing in life you have done that you wish you could undo?" "Having sex with Ethan." Gianna replies immediately. "But why? Isn't he hung like a horse?" Jay asks and Ethan stands up. "Shut up all of you!" "Is Ethan junior too little or what?" Jade asks him and he rolls his eyes before sitting down. "I'm good in bed. Just know that." He answers while taking a swig out of the bottle in his hand. "Then why does she regret it? No one regrets good sex." Cara points out. I'm feeling all too uncomfortable. The sex topic is awkward and I'd rather they all shut up. "Next question please." Kain says in that bored tone. I'm sure discussing his little sister's sex life is not his idea of fun.
