"You take a shot of whisky." Jade tells me. This won't end well. Gianna is seated between Kain and Zac and she turns to Zac. "Truth or dare?" "Dare." He answers without thinking. Cara is halfway drunk and she is smiling silly. Zac walks to her and kneels in front of her. She stands on her knees then wraps an arm around his neck. And just like that, they kiss. Maybe my mom was right. College kids are crazy. I take a small sip of my juice as Zac goes back to his position. It's his turn now, and he is seated next to Ethan so he turns to him. "Truth or dare?" Their Mom says, then hangs up when we keep laughing. If that was my mom, I'd be dead the moment I stepped into that house. It's my turn and I'm sweating as Ethan turns to me. "Truth or dare?" Everyone is looking at me and I lift the cup to my lips. The smell hits me first and I gag. Closing my eyes, I tip the cup back and swallow the disgusting contents in one big gulp. The shit is bitter and it scalds my throat. It settles somewhere in my belly and a warm fuzzy feeling engulfs me. I instantly feel lightheaded. I turn to Cara who is seated beside me. "Truth or dare?" She shrugs. "Dare." I think for a quick moment. "Text your crush and ask him out on a date." She smiles sweetly. She is really drunk. "Oh that's easy." She says while retrieving her phone. A moment later, Kain's phone vibrates and he takes it out. He reads the text then shakes his head at Cara. Stupid bitch. She just had to text him. The game continues, with Cara daring Jay to take his shirt off and stay shirtless for the rest of the game. Jay agrees too eagerly, pulling his shirt over his head and tossing it on the couch. I tense instantly while everyone else bursts out laughing, save for Zac and Ethan. I cross my fingers, hoping that he is going to decline that and take a shot instead but of course he doesn't. He walks to me and pulls me to my knees, just like Zac did with Cara. I'm so tense and I feel like I'll fall backwards from the alcohol in my system.
