THE BOY NEXT DOOR✓ EPISODE 106✓

I tense. This is the last thing I expected right now. My lips remain immobile for a moment. Kain's lips coaxes mine, his tongue seeking entry through my pursed lips. The tension wears out when he threads his fingers through my hair and none of us is prepared for my reaction. My heart beat accelerates and blood pounds in my veins. My breath catches in my throat and I throw all caution to the wind. I hold Kain's face between my hands. And I attack him. The kiss is the most intense thing I've ever experienced. I part my lips willingly and close my eyes and Kain doesn't disappoint. His arm tightens around me and he pulls me impossibly close to him, my soft feminine curves mashing with his muscular self. His grip on my hair is almost painful but I don't give a shit about that right now. My lips tangle easily with his. It's like we were meant to do this; it's so natural I can't even start wrapping my head around it. He tastes of mint and his lips are soft. I just can't have enough. When he angles his face to deepen the kiss, I let him and when a low growl erupts from his throat, I totally lose it. I have never been kissed before and I never imagined it'd be this way; so sweet and sensual, so breathtakingly sparky. A moan escapes my lips and he pulls back. I open my eyes and he is staring at me, his eyes dark and foxy; his lips full and a bit bruised from the heavy kissing. His breathing is erratic, uncontrolled and I'm fiercely glad that I affect him that much. "What is happening to me." He whispers more to himself than to me and I watch his eyes roaming over my face; his expression clearly awestruck. He reaches to smooth my hair back but it falls again over my face since I'm lying on top of him, forming a halo around us. His awed gaze follows his fingers as he touches my jaw, my nose, my eyes brows, before they trail along my thoroughly kissed lips. He pulls my hair to the side to get a better view of my face. "You are driving me crazy." He whispers huskily and I swoon. I'm driving Kain crazy. That has to be the sweetest thing he has ever told me. I can't think of anything to say right now, so I lower my lips and kiss him again. He doesn't disappoint. In no time, our lips are locked in a passionate kiss. "Wooooh guys, they are kissing!" Jay yells from somewhere and I quickly sit up. He is at the window looking at us with a huge smile. Why on earth did I leave it rolled down? I feel shy, embarrassed and exposed. The fact that I'm seated on Kain's lap with my legs on either side of him doesn't help much. "Fuck off, Jay. Now!" Kain snaps and Jay just bursts out laughing. "You people almost had an accident and all you could think about was kissing? Do road accidents turn you on?" Oh my God. Jay is crazy. "Jay, just go away." Kain tells him again, making no effort to move the hand that is wrapped tightly around me. He looks so confident and unaffected yet I feel like shit for being found in that position. "You guys have parked in the middle of the road! Where do you expect other motorists to go? Wait, what if you get a fucking ticket? I won't bail you out." Kain face palms himself. "Can't you just go back to your car or wherever you just crawled from?" "I must admit though that watching you two was a major turn on." Jay continues like Kain didn't even speak. "What happened? Are they okay?" George's voice reaches us as he approaches the car. "Okay you ask?" Jay taunts before he starts singing at the top of his voice; "Kain and puppy face sitting in a tree kissing. First comes love, then comes marriage then comes a baby in a carriage. And that's not all, that's not all, the baby likes to pee on the wall, and that's not all that's not all, the baby is in love with alcohol!" Kain rolls his eyes and opens his door. He let's me climb out, supporting me with one arm until my feet hit the ground. He leans to open my door and Jay smirks at me before going back to Ethan's car. Kain is biting back a grin as he watches the horror on my face. "Share the joke." I say sourly as he starts the car. "Why are you acting all embarrassed?" He asks casually, like he is totally missing the point. "Jay caught us...you know.. Kissing.," I stare out of the window when saying the last word. I can't bring myself to say that without blushing. "And what's wrong with that?" He asks again while focusing on the road and I scoff. What is wrong with him? "You think it's okay that they found us doing that?" He spares me a quick confused glance. "I don't see any problem with that. We were kissing, so what? In fact, I want to kiss you again." He is messing with me and it's working. I take a sharp intake of breath and my mouth is suddenly dry. When did he start talking about kissing me so casually? "Why do you want to kiss me?" I ask like the dumbass I am. "Well, you have really soft full lips and very kissable cheeks. You make these cute moans when I kiss you and..." "Stop!" I yell and he laughs. I think I will go crazy before the weekend is over. Kain is more focused on the road this time and he drives at a regular speed. It's really sad that we had to get into a near accident for him to get some sense through his thick skull. I don't even realize that I'm staring at him until he turns slowly to look at me. "You are staring at me again." "That's because you almost killed us a few minutes ago." I snap. "It wasn't intentional. You distracted me. I've never had an accident while on the wheel." "You are driving like a normal human being right now." I point out. "Why can't you drive like this all the time?" "Because it's boring and we are almost crawling. The only reason I'm using this snails speed is because I'm with you. I don't want you to be hurt, Belle. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you because of me." I look at him while he talks and I'm convinced that he means every single word. He never ceases to amaze me with his different personalities everyday. He is bipolar if you ask me. "Cara hates me because of you." I state out of nowhere. "That doesn't matter. She knows better than try anything funny on you. Tatiana will be staying away from you as well." "What did you do to her?" "I'll tell you tonight. We are already at the store." He pulls up at the parking lot and I get out. It's early evening and the place is crowded. Kain walks to my side and takes my hand without a word then leads me into the store with the rest of our friends right behind us. Jay and Zac take the carts and we move through the ground floor, stacking them with canned food and drinks and lots of snacks. Zac keeps glancing at Kain and I and our intertwined fingers and I avoid his gaze. He is still waiting for his answer and I hope that this is answer enough. If Kain notices Zac's jealous stares, he doesn't show it and he holds my hand throughout the shopping spree, tugging me along with him everywhere. Gianna is busy chatting with Jay the entire time and Kain seems to be relaxed. I have come to realize that he doesn't mind me or his sister hanging out with Jay. It's funny considering the fact that he is usually so protective. George and Jade are having fun pulling the items off the shelves and shoving them in the carts and Cara is having an heated argument with Ethan over the best brand of potato chips. When all is done and we have enough food to feed a medium sized family for a week, we all head to the cashier. I frown when I realize that George already has his credit card in hand. I look at Kain to see his reaction and his jaw is tense, his eyes narrowed at his brother. "Are we going to fight over this again?" Kain asks quietly and George clears his throat. "We don't have to. You just need to calm down and let me pay. It's no big deal." George says in a rushed voice. "While y'all rich kids are arguing about who is paying, I'll be in the car waiting for the food." Jay says and he walks out, followed by Gianna and Cara. I want to go but Kain keeps my hand in his. "You paid for the tickets last time." Kain reminds him and George bites his lip, handing his card to the cashier all the same. Jade rolls her eyes dramatically. "Why are you two always arguing about paying? George is always acting like he is guilty of something. What are both of you hiding from us?" I tense somehow but George keeps his eyes on the till while Kain remains perfectly still. Zac sighs and leaves the store while Ethan hangs around, to help carry the bags to the cars I guess. There is a very uncomfortable silence as we walk back to the cars and Kain wastes no time leading me to his car. He is looking all worked up and annoyed but I don't dare question him. He waits until the other two cars pull out of the driveway before he drives closely behind them. Tension is radiating off him and I feel guilty all over for keeping the one secret that I can't tell him. It's not my story to tell. I hope that George mans up soon enough. He reaches for my hand and intertwines our fingers then places them on his thigh as we speed down the highway towards the woods.
